New Garden


The cub room children are now enjoying being outside more with the installation of our permanent gazebo. When we have a sudden downpour the children are dry and cozy under the big "blue sky". The second piece of the project was the sand pit. That is now complete and you will see from the pictures that it can accommodate a lot more little people.

Parental Workshop


The nursery offers four evening parental workshops during the year. - First Aid, Weaning, Potty Training and Music. The First Aid training is run by an outside company. It is two 2 hour sessions and deals with basic pediatric first aid. The feed-back from parents who attended for the first time this year (2011) was that it was very beneficial. They felt more confident that if something happended that they would know what to do. The relaxed and fund approach of the trainer enabled parents to ask lots of quetions. It was definatley a big success. The other three sessions are run by the staff. They will share their experiences and knowledge in each area, and be ready to answer any questions. The music sesssion provides a much needed opportunity to learn and practice all the children's favourties.

Parents feedback


My daughter has has a really positive time at nursery, formed some close friendships and had the opportunity to do many things weare unbale to do at home. eg paining and gardening. The music and dance lessons have been really enjoyable and she has become much more confident. I am really impressed that she has learnt to use a knife and fork properly. She always seems very happy there and the staff are very good at settling her when she does not want me leave her which makes me feel much better as I know I do not need to worry.
